Tom’s Barber Shop

I woke up one morning and decided I needed to get this mop off my head. Rather than going to my usual barber, I took a chance on visiting Tom’s based on the great Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did.
When I walked in, I was greeted by Tom who was very welcoming (unlike some barbershops who don’t really seem to care you want to give them your business). After being put on the list, Shaquille seated me and asked me how I would like my cut. I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted but asked him to feel free to try something what he thought would work. The cut took a little longer than expected but Shaquille really went into detail with his work and made sure my cut was perfect. It was refreshing seeing someone put so much effort and care into their craft. I found out later from him that he has only been cutting for about 4 months under the apprenticeship of Tom. This guy is impressive!
Bottom line — If you want barbers who are great with the scissor and trimmer, go to Tom’s! They are also super nice guys and their clientele seems great too.

I went in this morning (Saturday) after finding them on Unilocal yesterday. A fairly long wait but it was well worth it. Shaq gave me my first fade and spent so much time making sure it was perfect. I can truly appreciate the effort that went into the cut today. I’ll be going back every two weeks. The price was fantastic!

I’ve grown up with this barber shop. Before Tom took over, this was Fred’s barber shop and I have memories going in as a child and coming out looking clean and fresh.
That feeling has not changed with Tom. Tom has brought in new styles and so much energy. He’s hard working and does the best fade in Toronto.
Highly recommend it. Awesome haircut at an amazing price.

Highly professional. Best man to see for the sharpest fade you can get In Toronto. Highly recommend for all to try once, you will be a returning customer after one cut.

Tom and the other barbers are very professional and friendly. I heard about this barber shop through a Unilocal search a couple months ago and I keep going back.
Only downside (but great for Tom) is that Tom has a loyal clientele and can have a long wait for your cut but his apprentices are just as good. I keep going back and haven’t even had Tom cut my hair yet.
Also, these guys know how to do a tight fade!

Tom is the man! Excellent barber who is passionate about his craft. Always takes the time to make sure you’re satisfied with his work. I would recommend Tom for anybody who is looking to get a fresh cut.

Tomas is amazing! An artist with a trimmer. The wait time is a bit of a turn off 1 – 3 hrs minimum but that’s what happens when demand is so high. Would recommend him to anyone!

This is the best place I got my hair cut in years. Great cuts, good price and the best service. I am definitely making this a place a usual for me.

This is absolutely awesome. Tom is the guy who owns the place. Hence the name. This guy is amazing. He takes his time cutting your hair and he knows what he’s doing. You can definitely tell he has a lot a passion for his job.
If you want to get in quick you should come before 3 because the place is packed from 3 till close.
I live about half an hour away from his shop but I will definitely make the trip over every time I need a trim, it is totally worth the time to come down and try him out. You will most likely find your new permanent barber here.

Tomas is the real deal. What an amazing find, right in my own neighborhood. A skilled barber who cuts with great precision. Friendly, and very well priced.
Offering all the typical barber services including shave, beard shaping and hair washing. The use of a straight razor at the end of the cut is definitely a nice touch too.

Tom is the man when it comes to getting your hair cut, your way. Excellent customer service, ample free parking, always worth the wait. If you want your expectations to be exceeded, go to Tom.

Best place for a hair cut! I live in Mississauga and have gone to 20 different barbers in Toronto, Mississauga, scarbrough and toms is the best! You gotta get a cut here

if u want your hair cut right go see Tomas! i recently got a haircut somewhere else and got butchered so bad, i was lucky to find Tomas the next day on Unilocal.dude saved me for real. the shop isn’t even close to me and i am still willing to make the trek to see him. To cut this short, go to Tomas and get a fresh cut

Truly an amazing barber, Tomas will give you what you ask for, never once have i gotten a bad cut from him, also he can whip up a conversation pretty quick and make you feel more like a friend than a costumer.

My barber Tomas is amazing! He’s a great guy funny and really nice. But most of all he’s an amazing barber. He’s great at what he does and one of the best. Five stars for voting is not good enough for him you need more stars. But lastly he’s got really good pricing.
