The environment is very chill and casual and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.

I could have sworn the name of this store was«Electric Revival.» It would still make sense. This is a shop jam-packed with antique lamps and lighting. There are chandeliers, table lamps, pendant lamps, wall sconces some industrial pieces as well. Usually I feel quite uncomfortable in lighting stores, but the layout is quite inviting and comfortable. There are good mix of antique styles here, but I got an art deco vibe from a lot of the pieces. Not a heck of a lot I was personally interested in, but I could definitely see this as a spot to get inspiration or learn more about lighting options. The owner seemed very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I shall return for a vintage exit lamp or a truck load of Edison bulbs(for my time-travelling steampunk friends). Obligatory Title Pun: An ILLUMINATING experience. Menu Readability: Arnold Boecklin. I don’t approved, but I suppose it fits their theme. Need to mention: They sell Edison bulbs here. $ 15. What this place teaches me about myself: I will rue the day when all lighting is fluorescent.

I’ve been to my fair share of antique shops where the owners hang over you like vultures, guarding their hoards of stuff. But that is simply not the case when it comes to this lovely antique lighting store. It’s a clean, organized shop run by a welcoming patron who knows a lot about the history of the area. It’s not overly big, so things are easy to find– glittery chandeliers, Tiffany style lamps, Art Deco wall sconces– and nothing is caked in dust(you can actually SEE the lights!). Prices range depending on what you’re looking for(as expected), but there’s no problem finding the price as delicate tags hang about the room above you like snowflakes. Oh, and don’t hesitate to ask him to turn all the lights on. It’s spectacular to see everything lit up(even better, go at dusk for an even better view).
