Days Hotel & Conference Centre

Recently I was in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for a martial arts convention, and only needed a clean, lay your head down kinda hotel. Let’s just start off by saying that upon my arrival, I was a little taken back at the site of dump trucks and construction equipment. The hotels parking lot was apparently undergoing construction and because I arrived late in the evening, there was a slight challenge finding parking! I guess what I might have expected from the hotel was a little warning? I was greeted by the hotel guest services agent with professionalism and a great deal of courtesy. The room itself was pleasant… a single King Bed with, 32″ Flat panel television, a desk with a ergonomic desk chair, a nice sized soft chair and ottoman. The soft chair itself is supplied with modem and electrical outlets plugs, and has swivel tables for work station use. The chair is actually called a «SMART CHAIR!» Th eWi-​Fi seemed a little spotty at times? The room was clean, and had plenty of space to accommodate my three day stay in Toronto. The one disappointment was the restroom was in need of some minor repairs. The walls near the toilet and tub areas needed some extra TLC!!! The paint was severely bubbled, and peeling (not cool). Fairview Mall is roughly 5 minutes away driving, and has a variety of stores and shops to accommodate all levels of shopping from low, mid to higher end. Although Days Hotel & Conference Centre is right off of the freeway, it is about 20 plus minutes to any real night life spots. It’s a hotel to lay your head down… if you’re in Toronto for a few days.

Room #602. Got the 2 Queen Bed Room. Room is identical to the photos shown on their website. Bed is soft and clean. Flat screen Phlips television with cable access placed on one of the two desks. Desk chair is ergonomic. In addition, there is a soft chair with a swivel table attached to it, for when you want to throw up your feet but still want to get some work done. Sufficient closet space, along with plenty of drawers. Iron and ironing board available in the closet if needed. There is also a safe in the closet. There is a in room coffee machine. Typical restroom. Restroom amenities: tissue paper, hair dryer, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
Location: Next to the freeway. Business district, so dont expect to find anything around here after dark.
