The Brandy Tree Westin Prince Hotel

This location of the Westin Prince Hotel has been newly renovated circa 2009 – 2010. The lobby is ultra modern with a great sitting area with fireplace for those cold winter nights and a bar and a view of some outdoor space. The Conference facilities are in the lower level and are well decorated with neutral colors and sleek nuevo-​deco wall sconces and adjustable lighting. The food available for conferences or weddings is also really amazing. A buffet of fresh cheese, seafood, salads and a beef carving station were all more than I expected in this out-​of-​the-​way hotel.
Sadly the location is quite a hike on a weeknight and if there is even a drop of snow, the Don Valley Parking lot can make one late to any event.
The other thing I don’t get about these ‘suburban’ hotels is why they charge for parking. All that space and they still want $ 20 for 4 hours? Thanks goodness for Valet– same price, great service.
The staff have always been ultra-​professional as well. Highly recommended, for events or business travel in North Toronto.
