Aneta is a gem. Professional, friendly, excellent waxes. Prices that can’t be beat. In fact, think I’ll treat myself to a massage here soon!

Highly recommend. This is my go-to day spa in my neighbourhood for waxing. I have not yet tried the other services(such as facials and nails) but I purchase my Butter polishes here too. The owner Aneta is so sweet; she makes you feel like you’ve arrived at her house not just her office. The space itself is above Trove in what could easily be an amazing apartment, which adds to the homey vibe. The prices are very reasonable and the waxing is at least $ 10+ cheaper than The Ten Spot down the street. No this is not a busy chain-like day spa. It’s intimate, personable and a perfect neighbourhood business. I like the fact that there’s usually only one or two other people there at most during my visits. They’re also getting new 100% Soy wax in, which I will be trying next month. I love that this spa is organic. It would make for a great gift for moms, girlfriends, wives or daughters that live in the Bloor West area. In regard to some of the negative comments on here: this day spa is more of a homey place than a slick, franchised business; if that’s the kind of spa you want, go to the Ten Spot. But if you want to support female entrepreneurs, use organic products, save money and have a peaceful experience, then Bloor West Organic Spa is your place :)

My most fav thing here to get is their pedicures!!! Truly the best you will ever receive in the city! It is a full 1 hour pedi, where each foot gets messaged for 10 mins+. NEVER in any spa have I been to where they give that much attention to the feet. Most places say 1 hour and its usually rushed to 45 mins with a basic foot rub. Also being organic, the scrubs are just salt scrubs with essential oils! Amazing! I have gotten a facial, waxing and mani’s which are ok. ive gotten better but it wasnt the worst. However, their pedis are amazing!!!

My usual waxing place was closed — they were open so I thought I would give it a try. They seemed frazzled like, «omg, clients who made an appointment showed up… omg…wipe this, put this away, set up the room…» Anyways, i was not impressed at all with the wax job. I know it’s just hair removal and the objective is just to get it done and done quickly… but she made it painful!(I’ve had waxing done many times before and this is the 1st where i felt myself breaking into a sweat). I’m not a professional — but I’ve never had soemone spread the wax in BOTH directions… anyway — it hurt. She rushed through it as if her pants are on fire and muttered, «put some oil on» — left me the bottle and ran out. I got dressed, went to pay and saw her sitting at the payment counter(no other guests — so I don’t know why she was in such a rush)…and she muttered«$ 40». I guess she thinks it’s okay to round up because $ 35 + HST is NOT $ 40. Small difference, but still. Whatever. I’m annoyed and pull out my credit card. Obviously, they do not have their credit card machine turned on… more running back and forth. I give up and pay cash. Too bad the service was so cold and unfriendly.

Have been here twice — had an AMAZING experience the first time — mud wrap, head massage, massage, facial. Went to book again, my girl no longer worked there. :-( The girl I had this time was not the best, I’m guessing she was very new to this — but I must say that the experience was still pretty good b/c of great products and her good attitude. The reason I opted for 4 starts over 3 is because I took my mom with me on the second visit for mother’s day mud wrap, massage, and facial and she LOVED her service with her lady. She was on cloud nine afterwards! I’ll be back but I might be a bit picky about who I book my appointment with.

I stumbled across this place this afternoon while looking for a spa that would take me without an appointment. The girls working here were awesome and very accommodating. The spa had a very zen-like vibe. Very quiet, nice and spacious colourful rooms, lots of tea, and the service was amazing. I just got waxing, but she was very fast and thorough. It’s apparently the area’s first organic and chemical-free spa. Since the products are all-natural, the products are a lot less irritating to the skin. I was also surprised by how reasonable the prices are: Facials are $ 60 to $ 85, body treatments are $ 65 to $ 85, pedicures are $ 40 or $ 50, and manicures are $ 25.
