I was very pleased with the service I received at 312 Optical Studio. Andrew offers great service and advice. He also has a great and unique selection of frames. I was looking for a European style frame and found what I needed at his store. I will sure be back. Thank-​you!

I love this store. The place is beautiful and the owners are some of the nicest people around. They really care about getting you the right glasses. If you’re really lucky you’ll get to see their adorable new baby while you’re there too:) Bottom line is if you are needing glasses of any kind this is a fantastic place to get them where you know you will get good service and awesome glasses that you don’t see anywhere else.

when you enter this store you feel at home right away. no pressure sales tactics here. andrew will let you try out all the glasses. he has a lot of vintage eye frames on top of very recent new frames from super cool new designers such as claire and oliver goldsmith and res/​rei to name just a few. a very broad selection of lower priced frames to higher priced frames. andrew knows his stuff. he knows about the different types of lenses that you can buy and he will tell you if a frame suits you or not. he did an amazing job fitting my glasses for me. andrew really cares. i will come back for my next pair of oliver goldsmith glasses for sure. oh yeah, parking can be a pain in the arse if you come from uptown to downtown. eye exams on sundays.

I had a great experience getting my eyes checked. I’m not sure how else to state that, so that will have to suffice. Compared to my previous exam a few years back, this was extremely thorough, and the optometrist took time to make sure I was able to see things, and very patient overall. It doesn’t hurt that this place is a stone’s throw from my place, either.
The store itself is beautiful. The selection of frames is varied, and the $ 100 deal they offer has many frames that look great, and don’t feel like they’ll break in light wind. They also presently have some really nice vintage frames, and some 3.1 Phillip Lim frames on clearance. Definitely not a bad deal.
Best of all, they are personable and helpful. It was a pleasure to have zero pressure to browse.
Also, did I mention they have a dog? Because they have a dog.
Pros: helpful, relaxed, very knowledgeable, dog, beautiful shop, excellent variety and pricing.
Cons: I don’t know how often I can buy new frames, that’s about it.

I recently popped in while visiting Toronto. The place had a great feel, clean and bright with friendly courteous staff. They were very patient when listening to me, and found me just the right products to fit my needs. They helped me find two fantastic frames that I couldn’t be happier with. These are by far the most comfortable frames I’ve ever worn and they look sharp too. Even though I live out of the city they still followed up with me to see how my frames were working out. One of the best optical stores in Canada for sure. Definitely worth checking out
