If you like games, this is the place to go. Friendly staff and tons of selection. Buck is a really nice guy and he always makes me feel welcome in the store, it’s like visiting my second family!

This is the best games store in the Lower Mainland. Buck and his staff are awesome. My husband and I weren’t really into board games until we started visiting Craving for a Game.
They really understand what kind of games we like and have never steered us wrong with game suggestions. We have gotten all our friends and family playing too. I would estimate we have bought over 30 games from Buck. Our most recent is 7 Wonders and we are thrilled with it.

The Vancouver area has many, many brick and mortar game stores, and some very good ones. This one always gets my business, in particular because they go out of their way to bring in rare and unusual games from overseas. I appreciate that that’s not important for everyone, but as a game connoisseur with a collection of over 400, being able to walk in at any time and know I can find something special makes this, to me, the best game store in the city.

My husband and I are very impressed by the amount and selection of games in this store. We were impressed with the help we received. The? owner was very informative and helped us to select a couple of games he thought we would enjoy… and we do! He also said he would order in a game we wanted if he didn’t have it. I would have given 5 stars but the prices are a bit steep.

I want to applaud management and staff at Craving For a Game. They have an excellent operation. They are always friendly. I always stop into Craving for a Game to browse their board games. I bought the 5 – 6 player expansion for Settlers of Catan. On Wednesdays they have Dungeon & Dragon’s Encounters and on Thursdays they have board game night.

The Lower Mainland is fortunate to have the best games retailers in Canada.
Craving For a Game has just upgraded to a terrific new space in Surrey Centre Mall and I am sure that this store has the biggest space to play and shop of any game store in BC. They carry an enormous selection of family board games, most current European and American titles, and a good selection of current war game titles. All of the current collectible card games are well represented plus a fun selection of toys and models.
The icing on this is a full weekly event schedule for board games, card games and tournaments. Keep up the good work because, we love to play.
