Second Cup

The drinks are made well but the thing I don’t like about coming here is that they always try to upsell. Their cupcakes and other pastries are outrageously priced. Other than that, I love their latte tuesdays and my favorite drink would have to be the vanilla bean hot chocolate.

This is my go to place when I have coffee dates with my girlfriends! The staff are great, and there are usually plenty of empty seats; except around the holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and during school semesters.
I do not see a lot of students coming here to study as much as I see at Starbucks, but when they do, they are usually at the back of Second Cup, near the rear doors surfing the net or doing homework.
I enjoy their ice drinks more than their hot drinks, always found their coffee a bit bitter. But, when I do venture out here, I usually get a chillate, or a frozen hot chocolate.
They have a small selection of baked goods and snacks like cookies, cake and biscotti, but nothing really amazing!
The comfy seats between the fire place is a nice touch! Great place to spend a couple of hours chatting and catching up with friends!

I love this location — I too, sat beside the fireplace in the photograph provided; a girlfriend and I met up for a knit ‘n natter and stayed till they closed (10? or 10:30? Late, either way). Had a terrific Latté (it’s so nice to do that since I can’t make them at home.)
This is an open, bright location, surprisingly bigger than I expected from the outside, and easy to get to, with lots of parking.
I would most certainly go back.

Super-​fast Wifi, declious chai lattes, and an owner who actually brings your order to your table! I have to admit, I’m really loving this Second Cup. It’s bright, cheery and very spacious and the staff are always friendly and warm. If I need a morning work spot and I’m in the area, this is my new go-​to place!
