Nails For You

Well its time for another review as seeing as this nail salon is not making anyone happy at all. I can’t understand how a business fails at customer service so much! I send them clients all the time… definitely no more as my clients are NOT happy! And guess what happens when you bring it up to their attention… they turn to you and have the audicity to say… no sorry go somewhere else… or charge you full price and NOT fix it. My clients nails went up in smoke in their chair… SMOKE! And she didn’t even get an apology or a percentage off or something. I went in one time… got my nails done and noticed they were all lopsided. When I went to fix 2 nails I accidently got color on from work… the other ladies were gawking at how bad the nails were and said… we can’t say anything and shook their head at their own coworkers work… wow. They are rude… and need to learn customer service or else they will NOT last! Definitely NOT recommending anyone there anymore!

I find it is hit or miss. I always just get a shellac polish change. Sometimes they go above and beyond and my nails stay beautiful for 2 – 3 weeks. Last time I went (Valentine’s day) my shellac started peeling off that same night! like the whole nail polish just came right off on 4 different nails. So disappointing, didn’t have time to go back to see if they would fix. Always very friendly though, and never have to wait long.

This place isn’t good! The worst place you can go! The owner has no people skills or I should say bad costume service. My nails are terrible! I was letting the nail girl I had to do want a wanted and she wouldn’t communicate with me like she didn’t understand… or something. She was a mute but as I was persistent then she said why I didn’t tell her before!!! Wow! Rude ppl in that place plus they are very slow like turtles.
Then don’t even bother calling back to complain because they will say anything to not fix them. Please Don’t Go There you will be not Happy!

Unfortunately I think it’s time I update my review for the worse.
I have been back to Nails for You many times and I think the customer service, selection of non-​shellac colours and quality of the services have really gone down hill.
My most recent mani-​pedi there involved a great and thorough pedi and then the most rushed and messy mani I have had in a long time. They were extremely busy and obviously wanting to start the next client. There is polish on my cuticles and I didn’t even get any hand lotion — I didn’t even get to sit in a manicure chair (they kept me at the pedi station) meaning I had to reach over through the whole service.
There are too many good places in Toronto to continue to go to a subpar location. I might be back for a pedi (convenience can sometimes be a trump card), but I’ll take my manis elsewhere!

The location is good. We went and got menchies right after our services.
The service was good, we came before the busy after work rush so that was. The polish was around my cuticles so that could be worked on a bit. I’m just glad I wasn’t cut so didn’t bother with the polish. The girls could try to talk with clients a bit more to get more of the friendly atmosphere.
I was content overall. Would I return? maybe if I was around the area sure.
