I just ordered delivery and I have never been so disappointed. The won ton was cold, and the lemon chicken was actually disgusting. Over cooked and greasy, slopped in the container. It was so disgusting I’ve taken and posted a picture. You can’t even see chicken, just tasteless deep fried batter. What a waste of $ 34

Came here for a lunch with the family, they didn’t have a parking spot below the garage beside stall number 12. The food is alright not exactly the best. There is decent service so overall based off the taste of food, service and parking I believe they are a 3.5 star except I can’t give them a 3.5.

Great lunch specials and very friendly family service. The service is fast also. But I was shocked when they charge me 3.75 when I asked for extra noodles on the side

Tasteless. We couldn’t get through to Westview Chinese on Christmas day so decided to order from here. Food was not worth the price and not even worth eating. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, it was tasteless, ginger beef, soggy and tasteless, deep fried prawns, disgusting, overly breaded and tasteless. Lettuce wraps were the only edible thing on the menu we ordered. Thank god we had some costco spring rolls to feed the family. The rest of the food went straight into the garbage can. Do not waste your money on this place. I mean really how can you make food this bad? We don’t have the highest of expectations when we order chinese but really, this is highway robbery. If you’re stuck and can’t get decent chinese, try some indian food on Lonsdale or Japanese, either one will be 300% better than this mush.

They have big lunch special menu starting at very reasonable prices with very tasty wonton soup, my family was satisfied with every order and I am a fan of their curry chicken meal. Services is very nice, always smiling and super fast. Its a great lunch place

As take-​out Chinese restaurants go the Dragon Gate is decent enough to have a menu for and to go to when you want to have a take out order.
The menu is the standard fare as you’d find in other Chinese Restaurants and the dishes average about $ 10.
I’ve eaten in there as well and the décor is clean and bright.
Yes there are other nice more unique Chinese Restaurants out there, but the Golden Gate is A-​OK, not great, not horrible, but a well deserved A-​OK.

Dragon Gate was closed for a while for renovations. When I first saw the paper up over the windows, I had a little moment of panic, because so many of my favourite restaurants have shut down over the past few months. But they have now re-​opened. In fact, they’ve expanded into the space next door. Now there is much more room, the décor is nicer, and, I’m pleased to report, that nasty smokey taste is gone from the chow mein.
