South Island Pie

After many many months of craving for a good meat pie like i use to have back home (downuder)
My partner found south island pie co. We started off with an order of 6 pies, delivered right to our door. Cooked 4 up straight away and in that first bite i thought i was home.
After we followed up with an order of 24 pies, which speakes for itself how much i was in love.
Great variety of pies all as delicious as the next. And i am able to slowly introduce more and more canadians to the delightful treat!

Perfect as it can be!
The pastry itself is beautifully made. The flavour is simply delicious. I ordered the Old Faithful pie which contains locally sourced lean beef mince in a lager and vegemite gravy topped with aged white cheddar. The first bite to the last bite was HEAVENLY. Just the kind of meat pie I have been looking for !
Apparently, South Island Pie Co will be operating on 104^st during Spring/​Summer at the Hawker’s Market. Fret not, my friends. Pies can be ordered anytime via online through their website and delivery is as fast as a choo choo train.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That’s the glory of online pies !
The price is just right: $ 7 each /​/​$ 40 for 6 /​/​$ 75 for 12 /​/​
I am one happy bunny for the day! And… I’ve just ordered more pies to devour for the week! :D
