Cleopatra’s Closet

It’s a little difficult to find a consignment shop in this city that sells clothing for younger women. Cleopatra’s Closet isn’t any different; it mainly carries clothing and accessories for middle-​aged women. But persevere as I did today and you’ll be able to find something for sure. Everything is color-​coordinated and organized into categories for easier browsing. They’ve got tons of shoes and bags too, and it’s not hard to find brands like Louis Vuitton and Coach among these items. You can get these items for a whole lot less than regular retail, maybe a third or quarter of the price. Owner Dawn-​Marie makes sure the items she takes is in good condition. She’s very mindful of her shop and knows each item as if they were her own. As I was browsing today, a few other customers came in and chatted with her in such an easy way, it made me think they must come here quite often. I probably would have made off with more today if things had fitted me. I did manage to pick up a Banana Republic sweater today though, which probably would’ve cost three times more in the store. I’m putting Cleopatra’s on my list of must-​visit consignment shops.
