Great little Japanese in Hay Street, in West Perth. Very popular lunch option (in facts it’s only open for lunch Mon to Fri) and decent prices too, though a little bit more expensive that the Japanese in the food court. But you get what you pay for, the sashimi is fresh and delicious and includes Tuna unlike the Japanese in the food court. They have a good variety of other ready made sushi packs, salads, marinated octopus and seaweed in the chilled section. If you are after something more substantial/​hot you only have to wait a few minutes to for them to whip up your favourite Japanese meal which can be eaten in or taken away, though not much seating. I a have tried a fair few things on the menu and have not been disappointed so far! Would recommend for lunch if your in the West Perth area around lunchtime in the week!

Delicious sushi, well presently and lovely staff. I have been coming here for a while to get my boss’s lunch and always thought it looked delicious. I usually ended up being stingy though and heading to the deli next door to get my standard, pre-​packaged, much cheaper sushi. Last week I decided to splurge and tries the sushi from Yamato. All I can say is I will never go back to the supermarket for my sushi needs. YUM!

I have only had the sushi here as it is pretty good so I just keep ordering the same thing. You cant really go wrong with sushi if the Nori is good quality and they are made fresh. The rice was nice a soft and the tuna rolls were oozing with good quality Japanese Mayonnaise. I could have my lunch from here each day, it beats a boring sandwich. This is mainly a takeaway place.

This is very much a take-​away Japanese lunch bar, aimed at filling the bellies of local office workers. It has a good selection of sushi, ramen and other take-​away fried favourites. It’s nothing special but it can be much more attractive than paying over the odds to sit down in other cafes around the area. If you are sick of eating the same lunches, come in here for a change.
