We wanted good Chinese at lunch time in West Perth, and I trusted Unilocalers to point me in the right direction. First, while many of the dishes served here might be Chinese in origin, I wouldn’t exclusively call this Chinese dining. I was a little disappointed at that, and tried the laksa because nothing else really appealed to me. It was average at best, and lacked a real depth of flavor that many laksas do. There was some mystery meat(later determined to be dark meat chicken) in it as well as seafood. I couldn’t find any napkins either, but there randomly scattered boxes of tissue around the seating area. This restaurant is cash only, so bear that in mind as well. I don’t know if I’ll be back again.

The laksa is always amazing and has the perfect amount of spice!!! I am yet to try anything else on the menu because I just can’t go past the laksa every single time!

My friend Janet took me to lunch at Noodle Inn years ago and I have been a loyal fan ever since. I would frequent the place a lot more if they were open on weekends but have to be content with visits on my days off. At Noodle Inn, they use fresh, quality ingredients and prepare your meal on the spot. There are a variety of noodle and rice dishes on offer. In addition, there are side dishes, like Chinese veg with oyster sauce and small serves of dumpling or wonton soups. Everything on the menu is delicious, but my favourites are the Hainan Chicken Rice and the BBQ pork and wonton noodles. I think the Hainan Chicken Rice is the best in Perth and as I always have the breast meat it is a rather healthy choice. It is fresh and tasty and you have the option of breast or thigh. The fresh chilli sauce is addictive and adds a real zing to the meal. I wish I could buy it by the bottle and carry it off to my place! Would add it to everything and people may be fooled into thinking my cooking has improved! The staff are always so lovely and the place is run very efficiently. It caters for the business workers and whether you dine in or takeaway, your meals are ready within minutes. They are open from Monday to Friday between 11am to 3pm and are closed on Public Holidays. So, next time you are hankering for some noodles, hop on a Red Cat from the city and hop off at stop number 17! Your tastebuds will thank you!

Noodle Inn bar is reasonable noodle place. Had the Sor fun Soup for $ 12. It was pleasant, had a nice environment, typical of most asian places you go to. Plenty of space and reliable. The food is pretty standard, there was no particular outstanding feature or item. Having said that, it had no particular negative feature either. Its an okay place to go to for lunch when you want something different. Portions were good, you felt full but not stuffed afterwards. I probably will go back, after having tried a few others. Jack

Both noodle inn’s located at harbour town and the west perth business district are great. Very quick and fresh food, full of flavour. I venture here at least once a week for their chicken rice. The singapore staple. You must try it!

The must tries of Noodle inn are: 1. BBQ Pork noodles with wonton — Have it dry-style(i.e. not in soup) and a must have accompanient is the green chilli(self help) 2. Laksa. The chicken rice is terrible yet I see so many people eat it. The meat is usually over boiled. However, I have rather high standards for chicken rice.

Did someone say noodles? If I could eat noodles everyday for the rest of my life, I’d be the happiest child ever! Tucked deep inside a narrow alleyway, this restaurant serves up some yummy noodle dishes. You place your order at the counter, find a table and nek minnit, your meal is served! Or if you’re ordering take-away, it’s even faster! There’s a decent selection of noodle choices(both soup or dry), such as BBQ pork noodles, wonton noodles, roast duck noodles, and sar hor fun soup to name a few. One of my co-workers swears by their bbq pork & wonton noodles, which I have to admit, is quite delish. Especially topped with some of their chilli sauces or pickled, cut green chillies. [Side note: You are only allowed one tiny plate/container of sauce with each dish purchased. You will be charged for extra sauce if you want more than one.] If you’re not a fan of noodles(blesphamy!), there are good ol’ rice plates as well. The BBQ pork rice and Hainan chicken rice are my two top choices. When ordering chicken rice, you can choose to get the breast meat or thigh meat. Next dish on my list to try is laksa!
