My favourite is their Kolo mee($ 7), which is thin egg noodles topped with roast pork(char Siew) and minced pork. I also like it with crispy chicken. Chilli oil is crispy and goes well with the noodles. Serving size is good. Other things in the menu are tasty too. Sometimes the place feels a bit grungy but it is spacious, the seats are mostly comfy and the aircon works fine. Anyway you should come here for the food.

Came here on 3 separate occassions and I’ve had to ask for my food as i waited for over half an hour with nothing in site. The staff were unapologetic and didn’t give a shit that they forgot. The food itself was good and premises were clean.

I popped in to try this place after seeing Amy C’s review. Ordered the Sarawak laksa which came out very quickly and was piping hot. Initially I found it lacking in seasoning but after a liberal dousing in soy sauce and chillies it perked it up a bit. Very good value for just $ 8.50. I’ll be back to try the kolo mee next time. Slightly disappointed that there is no Coke, Solo etc, mostly just Asian soft drinks. If you’re looking for a cheap, quick and filling lunch this is the place.

I attend Curtin University and live very close to Waterford Plaza and absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The prices are incredibly low and you get a lot of food. The noodles are delicious and taste really authentic and homemade. The staff are friendly and the food comes out super fast. As a Uni student, the Kitchen Inn Express has everything I could ever want. I will definitely be back again soon!
