NOTES: ~ This review is based on delivery ONLY. I have not visited this restaurant in person. ~ 10% off first order. ~ Order $ 50 or more and get a free garlic bread. I was half-tempted to get a steak for delivery, but decided against it because it just seemed wrong. What I ordered: ~ Creamy Mashed Potato $ 6.00 Maybe I’m just biased because mashed potatoes is one of my favourite foods on this planet, but I would definitely recommend! The weren’t joking about putting«creamy» in the title. Additionally, with the steep prices of food in Melbourne, I was pretty much expecting a tiny little container of potato. However, I actually got a full takeaway container and it could’ve been a meal on its own. ~ Pollo Avocado $ 15.00 If you’ve ever ordered delivery before, I’m sure you understand that most Italian places offer very basic options for the type of pasta — spaghetti, penne, fettuccini, and maybe angel hair. However, with Capriccio, there are pasta types that I wouldn’t have even though was an option. Aside from the basics you get… risotto, gnocchi, and beef tortellini. Naturally, I went straight for the beef tortellini. The dish was delicious! The only real downside was that the sauce was a tad bit watery, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Their extensive menu of mains, pizza, and pastas combined with the fact that they have beer for delivery makes Capriccio one of the best places you can go for a delivery that isn’t «just another cheap takeaway». Surprisingly enough, their prices weren’t too steep either, so if you haven’t yet given this place a try, do it now!
