In amongst the IT vendors along St Kilda Rd this oasis of restaurants and shops sits pretty much isolated. Rosco’s is always busy, because it has a reputation for good pizza fast, and it absolutely lives up to that. We often come here as a group from our offices and can always be sure to get in and out in a lunch break, tummy filled with cheesy goodness and crunchy crusts. Thin crust, tons of tasty toppings, and fast service make Café Rosco a winner for me. On a cold day it is always full as hungry tech types fill up. Recommended.

Rosco has good pizza and nice take away/delivery. The prawn dishes are quite good and the dips are excellent as well. Surprisingly the steaks and pasta are quite good as well!

By far the most disappointing meal during our trip to Melbourne. The staff was apathetic, the food was abyssmal(carbonara was tasteless, pollo funghi was dull, caesar salad was NOT a caesar, it was a chef salad) and the house wine might as well have come out of a box. Awful. There is much better Italian in this city — don’t waste your time here.

Sometimes judging a book by its cover can be a good thing. Such was the case of Café Rosco, with the cutesy and curly lower-case«r» letter smacked in front of the wooden background. After not having eaten in too many hours, becoming cold during a night walk, and losing some energy, I saw folks gathered here and figured it must be halfway decent. Indeed, it was more than halfway decent. Had I known this was a place known for their pizza, I would’ve ordered that instead but it was only halfway through my meal that I noticed how much pizza was going out. But it’s okay — I ordered the ravioli, a pasta dish I hadn’t had in AGES and it hit the spot and did the job. Well done, Rosco.
