Visited Dumpling Hut on Saturday 23rd August for a quick snack before seeing a film at Dendy at 2pm. We had Boiled Pork and Chive Dumplings(12 for $ 7). Plus steamed prawn and chicken Shao Mai(6 for $ 12).They were very tasty. This place was busy. Diners seemed happy. The waitresses were fast and polite. The big open kitchen has a viewing window it was clean and chefs were quick and competent. They were cooking up an extensive menu which was more than dumplings but included standards like Mongolian Lamb, Honey Chicken & Sichuan Spicy Beef & Peki g Duck Pancakes. There is also a wide range of vegetarian dishes. This restaurant also serves beers but no wine list. It is BYO with no corkage fee. I will return. There

Brand new dumpling bar, just across the road from the marly bar, or if that’s not a good enough reference, down a couple of doors from Max Brenner. Super fresh and reasonably priced. $ 11 will see you suited up with a tray of hand made dumplings and the tick-box menu is great for groups. Also big open lay out so you don’t have to listen to other people’s conversations! I’ve never had such tasty fried rice! Cash only at the moment but I assume that’s because the just opened up… Like to know how they go!
