Near perfection. Seriously the best Thai I’ve had in ages. The new bigger space is really nice too, although it was a little humid inside. But I will DEFINITELY be back because the food was spot on and the service really friendly and professional. Byo wine only.

This place is outstanding. I’ve lived in Newtown for many years, and this is by far the best Thai restaurant here. Impeccable service and food. I tried it again the other day after two years away, and it was just as good as I remembered it. The duck panang is a must.

Very awesome thai restaurant, one of the best ones I’ve had. The miang goong and prawn spring roll were definitely the highlights. Phad thai was also good, the noodle was skinny; I mean pad thai has thin noodles but this one was also skinny which changed the texture a bit and I personally liked it.

Pretty good Thai food. The staffed chicken wing is very good. The ‘Must Try’ prawn is superb. The crab roll is all right, not bad but not that great either. This is a ‘come back’ place if I live in the area.

Sometimes you just want Thai food. Green curry was on my mind last night so we ventured over the Newtown to satisfy the craving. Of the many Thai offering on King Street this topped the list for me. The elaborate decorations and mural made up for the fact that they sat us in the back corner next to a baby; a less determined couple might have walked. If you get sat in the front room at least takes. Look in the back; the walls are inspired.
We ordered the money bags to start and then the cashew nut chicken and green curry with chicken for the main. Money bags were okay. I’m not really a fan of fried but husband liked them so that’s good.
Be ware, this place is BYO. We didn’t know that until the next table arrived with two bottles of champagne, several bottles of wine and a couple 6-​packs. Will bring some Singha next time (husband was very disappointed).
The food was great. Green curry was spot on if a little milder than I expect. I did like the cashew nut chicken a lot. We could have easily done with two entrees and a main (and we’re American so we like to eat). Keep that in mind if you aren’t starving.
