Glasson Park

On the corner of Glyde and George Streets in East Fremantle sits this nice little recreation area. It’s got a basketball hoop, a tyre swing, an impressive jungle gym, a wall mural completed by John Curtin students, a picnic area with tables and a BBQ, and some impressive trees providing shade on those hot summer days. There’s ample parking right in front of the park, and to the best of my knowledge is a pet friendly area.
The only down side to this otherwise adequate play area is that there always seems to be some interesting looking characters lurking near the picnic tables.
