Gourley Park

If the 21^st century wasn’t ruled by video games and twitterings and comments on digital walls, I imagine that a park like Gourley would definitely be going off. Shooting hoops, playing on swings, climbing through tunnels, general running amok… ah, those were the days. Did you know that Gourley Park has all three of these? The park is on the small side, so it’s good for couples with little ‘uns because there’s no chance of them running off and finding strangers with candy, and you’ve got this view of the river which is pretty ace as well. The play equipment is pretty bad-​ass with a jungle gym, a crawling space which slightly resembles a train, a small basketball court and ample space to play kick-​ball. Good times if you’re wanting to get the kids out of your hair for a bit and enjoying some physical activity.
