This is actually my favourite café in Sydney. It’s not pretentious or particularly cool like a lot of the hipster cafes that have popped up in the last five years, but the food is made with a lot of care and thought. Everything on the menu is simple but is made with the best ingredients. The staff are adorable and the prices are amazingly good. The poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and goats cheese is a total winner, as is the mushrooms with salsa verde. For lunch, they make the best reuben sandwich in town. They also do set-course dinners every now-and-again, which are delightful.
