We were quite disappointed with our experience here. The food took more than 45 mins to come. the waitress we asked appeared annoyed and said «can’t you see all these ppl here? The kitchen is busy». But I suspect it’s more the case of the disorganised kitchen because the tables next to us got their orders first and there were ppl who arrived before us and were still waiting. That’s when we realised that the restaurant looks busy because everyone is waiting for their food.
The food was okay. Nothing to rave about. But also nothing to complain about. I wish they told us how long it takes for them to cook it. So two stars for the mediocre service and food.

I was drawn in by their $ 15.50 lunch specials. I tried their kangaroo burger which came with a generous serving of chips. The burger was good and flavourful. The bun is big so I had to pick some of it off because there was just too much bread.
Service was friendly so no complaints. Nikos is a nice little spot if you’re at Bondi.

I can’t say that I’m a fan of Nikos, as the staff can be a bit obnoxious sometimes, although this may be misunderstood humour, most of the other staff were nice and friendly.
I ordered the Lamb souvlaki which was very nicely done with a good size plate, although for the price, and location, the taste didn’t live up to reputation or expectation, best described as forgettable.
I should have known how bad the food was going to be just by the unorganised and dirty kitchen. There are better places to go to in bondi, such a shame because the staff here are so wonderful.

I just had lunch at Nikos on Bondi Beach (or rather across the road), I dined on the BBQ Baby Back of Pork Spare Ribs, which was one of the specials, It sounds a little scary, I think just because of the word baby in the name, but it was a delicious baby indeed. I am not a big fan of pork, but pork ribs, now that is something else entirely. It was delicious in a tasty marinate and reasonably priced for the serving.
Overall I was very impressed, the service was efficient and friendly, they were happy to chat with us a we got progressively tipsy, which leads to… my friend and I shared a litre of Sangria which is perfect for a hot day and left us stumbly and giggly, great weekend afternoon lunch.

I’m not enough of a regular at Nikos for the staff to remember me (or vice versa) and give me special treatment. Which is why it’s so nice that whenever I DO go there the service is always great and a little above and beyond. The staff at this place really seem to care, and that also shines through in the food.
I love Greek food, in fact it’s definitely one of my top three cuisines. I am also a big fan of mezze or tapas style eating so I’ve never had a main from here but always share mezze dishes with my friends. The haloumi and spanakopita in particular are to die for. Gets very busy here especially at the outdoor tables but the obliging staff will always try and find a spot for a hungry passer-​by.
