Stopped here for breakfast before a day at the beach. The service was a bit slow, but it was obvious there was only one person waiting on people and he was doing the best he could. I got the classic breakfast with eggs, toast, spinach, and grilled tomato. Everything was really good except the spinach was a little undercooked-not a huge deal as it was still good when combined in bites mixed with the other items. My husband ordered the muesli with fruit-which was pretty amazing. It had heaps of fruit in it-which was super refreshing in the heat and the muesli managed to maintain a nice crunch within the fruit and yogurt. We did kind of a half and half deal which made for a great well rounded breakfast for both of us.

You know that if a chef/barista who used to own a restaurant in Pyrmont chooses a café near where they live, to meet for coffee, then it must be worth it. That barista is my sister, and although there are closer café’s to where she lives in Bondi, this is obviously worth the extra walk. The waitress quickly had me seated outside, and was very polite and quick to offer me the menu, while I waited for my sister to arrive. I ordered coffee, and a few minutes later the barista personally brought it to me, explaining that they used a home blend of Argentinian beens and recently removed their Ethiopian bean from the blend, as it put the acidity off balance — quite technical. Overall, the breakfasts looked amazing on the tables next to us, and the coffee was delicious. They’re friendly and quick, and have a great range of large servings of fresh fruit juice, and breakfast and lunch. Perfect for a large group with ample outdoor seating to take advantage of the Bondi sun.

I’m hungry, it’s cold and I refuse to eat fast food or anything with that evil word that rhymes with«try». Walking in Bondi my partner and I found a nice little place and saw the words Chicken burrito(plus they had a warm spot inside to eat). The small café had a couple of tables inside and more out on the boardwalk. A friendly guy greeted us, sat us at a table inside and briefly explained the items on the menu. We order our chicken burritos. Ten or Fifteen minutes later they show up, nicely sized, stuffed with chicken, rice and fresh salsa. Just as quickly as they arrived they disappear, quietly and without a fight. They were just what we need a quick, delicious and hearty meal to keep us going. A great find at the right time.
