Fish House

I ordered takeaway and wanted something healthy so I chose the grilled barramundi. It was cooked well (not over or under cooked) and served with lemon which was a nice addition to the fish. It’s a takeaway type shop and also serves fried food like fish and chips, calamari and other seafoods like octopus and prawns. It is situated on the main road parallel to the beach so buying takeaway and taking it to the beach on a nice day might be a good choice. The price is moderate for takeaway and the service is fairly quick.

Great location just down from the flea markets and smack bang opposite the beach.
Whilst the food took a little longer to cook, it was fresh, it was cooked right and the portion sizes were spot on.
They have a huge menu! You can choose which fish you’d like with your fish and chips, how it’s cooked, what salad to have with it… and DEEP FRIED MARS BARS! Not too hot, not too gooey. unfortunately I had to share mine so I can only speak for all but the last piece… Next time I’ll be ordering 2.
There are a few indoor seats (literally only a few) but if you’ve come to Bondi Beach to eat inside… there’s bigger issues than seating :-)

OMG! Perfect fish and chips, perfectly moist thick fish with perfectly golden crunchy beer batter. The chips were good too, but the fish was definitely the star!
Verdict: will be back, you must try the fish here.
Note to self: try some calamari next time and don’t forget the chicken salt
Oh they also have a fried Mars bar… I didn’t venture there
