Conformity and a cup of racism …
This Starbucks is like any other all over the world except if your a white American and don’t speak Turkish they will only give you clear plastic fork while my buddy Baris Manco was given a shiny silver fork every time he asked … Maybe it’s because he’s handsome and I look like a worn out vagabond but I think this Starbucks is racist… This was so embarrassing to eat cake with my friend when we had such a huge disparity between utensil quality …
Next time I go here I will bring my own diamond encrusted Sultan fork !

This starbucks has fast wifi, ample seating, and is the closest Starbucks to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and other touristy things in that area. I feel weird giving such a rave review to a massive chain of largely cookie-​cutter coffee shops, but unfortunately the local gems just don’t match in the comfort department. If you need reliable internet, cool surroundings, and the kind of fancy coffee drinks only a place like Starbucks can provide, you will need to abandon your preference for the local and settle in to one of their massive armchairs.
