This is a very nice seafood restaurant located within easy walking distance of the Sheraton and Hilton hotels. A group of us were in Ankara on business and we were looking for a good place to have a group farewell dinner. This was recommended and suited the purpose very well. The establishment seated us in a private dining room on an upper floor. It easily held twenty diners. They arranged a set multi-course menu for us. At 120TL(about $ 40US) including wine, we were stuffed and waddled back to our rooms. The food, in truth, was very good, but no one dish really stood out and made you say ‘wow’. The calamari dish, that had both grilled and fried elements was probably the most notable. The grilled sea bass main entrée was fresh and tasty. Several of the small plate appetizers had some ‘kick’ to them if you were looking for stronger flavor a! In all, a good mix. The minor disappointment was the desert, which was a small selection of candied fruit(figs) that was rather plain. But as we were already stuffed to the gills by that time it did not mar the evening. The service was very nice. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. English was a little rough, but we could make ourselves understood. All in all a lovely evening at a place I would happily return to.
