The Beer republic is for beer lovers. Food lovers should be more careful. Hamburgers were fine, mussels were great but the steak tartar was a disaster.
Service is fine – these guys really know their stuff beerwise. The venue is dark and there are no cloths on the tables. You have to set your own place.
All in all — have your beer here and your dinner somewhere else.

They do not make cocktails. Beer is their specialty. Not to worry! They know their menu and what compliments what. I ordered turbo (fish) it was excellent! Got a lovely beer with it! Was what my bartender drinks. I cannot compliment them more and i will definitely eat here again!

I need to upgrade my rating, and this is only beer wise.
I still find it somewhat frustrating all tables on street level being for eating guests only.
Stools at the bar or upstairs is where drinks only are. No serving at the tables upstairs though.
Thursdays and weekends this place is usually packed, so get here early for drinks or book a table.
They have an excellent selection of drafts and crafts (and whisky). Ask for the gigantic bottle menu.

Great selection of beers, nice and chill atmosphere. I didn’t try their food but by looking at other people’s food they look good :) First floor tables are for eating and if you’re only getting drinks you can stay by the bar or go to second floor. There’re plenty of couch seatings and tables on second floor for hanging out.
