Food is ok, but far from what you’d expect, given what you pay l. The pad thai didn’t taste anything and was a disappointment. Luckily the starter was somewhat better. Service was only so-​so. 10 SEK for a glass of tap water makes the overall experience even worse.

Everything was literally «meh». The drink glasses were tiny, as you an see in the picture and after having spent most of the morning and afternoon walking around Gøteborg, my boyfriend and I were starving and thirsty. However, they only filled up our water glasses once, which is a big massive no no. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in some cheap cafeteria that was old and dirty. I am not sure if they were trying to be ironic by calling it «Spice», but it is literally anything but. The food was some of the blandest thai food I have ever tasted. We started off with really dry spring rolls that had clearly been microwaved. Parts were scalding hot and other parts were cold. I got the paneng with chicken, which had also been microwaved. The chicken was dry and chewy the vegetables soggy, and the sauce tasted like it had a dab of red curry and a whole lot of milk (not coconut milk). My boyfriend’s dish had also been microwaved, again scalding hot in some parts and cold in others, but at least the sauce was a little tastier.
All I can say about this place is thank God for room service!

Leider kann ich nur 2 Sterne vergeben, da die weibliche Bedienung zu dieser schlechten Einschätzung geführt hat. Wir wurden schnell einem Tisch zugewiesen und die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen, doch wie dann die Teller auf den Tisch geknallt wurden, habe ich bislang noch nicht erlebt, welch Glück, dass das Curry in hohen Schüsseln serviert wurden, denn sonst wäre schon die Hälfte auf der Hose gewesen. Das Essen war echt Spicy, doch die Bedienung könnte echt freundlicher sein
