This place is really nice I mean really nice it looks like someone’s kitchen the server was like my best friend. My brother told me about this place and they have really good balls if you like balls then go here for some balls. Swedish meatballs that is, supposedly this place is the original place for them. They were cooked quite well it went perfect with the mashed potatoes and gravy. A simple food meat and potatoes but hey they do it well. If you ever find yourself in this part of the world then stop by and have some balls.

Nice cozy bar with cushions and rustic atmosphere with soft music… good place to have a private conversation, tucked away in a cute corner of Gamla Stan

Perfect service, had the traditional meatballs and salted salmon(raw salmon marinated). Recommend both!

To be fair, everything in Stockholm is pretty expensive compared to what we’re used to in SF. The place is kinda small, but the vibe, food, and booze are pretty good. We had the Swedish meatballs(~150kr– highly recommended!), the beef filets(~200kr), and some stouts. YUM! It was all very hearty but perfect for a pair of CA tourists on a super cold day. The place was pretty crowded, but you can always grab something at the bar during the wait. :D

We were brought here by some locals and so glad we came. We had beers outside whilst we waited for a table. The place is quite small but the hospitality is huge! We huddled around a few small tables enjoying the pickled herring, then the sea bass and of course the swedish meatballs. The meatballs with lingonberries was best we had the whole trip. Our server perhaps owner was so genuine about asking what we liked or wanted is was dear. We will be back for good casual food served with a smile.

This is like a dive bar version of a café, something you might find in the Haight part of San Francisco. I had a pretty good latte and a veggie quiche. Food was pretty good, seems like a local spot, if that’s possible in the most tourist part of Stockholm. The most amazing thing was the ABBA playing in the background, I was shocked, have they just been playin their music here all this time?
