Ultra posh restaurant with an attitude to match. We were rudely turned away by the host who told us the restaurant was full when there were literally no customers seated. Note that we were in street clothes, not in formal wear. But we were in clean(and very expensive) winter gear such as a Mountain Hardwear and Columbia ski jackets/parkas with jeans — definitely not dirty tourists. I would have been fine if they had simply stated that they required a dress code but to be rudely lied to prompted me to give them a 1 star review. I’m sure the food is good, but unless you are in formal wear, expect an upturned nose. There are many places nearby that I would recommend instead.

Amazing smörgåsbord. This fantastic restaurant is located on the first floor of the Grand Hotel. The restaurant has a fantastic view of Gamla Stan across the waters. We sat here on a sunny day watching the beautiful view enjoying every bite of food offered here. While pricey, this is a wonderful experience for those who wants to splurge on a weekend trip to Stockholm. Also note that the crowd is far from being touristy. Ill add more photos and update on the review once I go back.
