so does an underground bar with exposed stones make it a vampire bar? maybe… However, there is the ever-present pleasant scent of a distinctly vampiry urinal. maybe that was the vampire theme. You may have to take some garlic to endure the scent.

Let me say I’ve been here about 3 times over 5 years In Sweden and I have heard people saying how they love the drinks — but never once had a person with me talking about a good drink there.
First of all, there’s the coat check thing. 30 sek for coat check and they want you to do it right away. Don’t look around to see if you like the place or the music — check your coat and pay immediately.
Second the interior is nice, pleasant lighting, nice stone walls — but the place smells like a Red Bull toilet.
Third the music has always sucked really badly. Either a Dj who plays stuff like Nickelback and Maroon 5 or a Dj who plays obscure shitty 60s psychedelia.
This place that with different management, good djs and a professional cleaner could have great potential.
Putting it all together Vampire Lounge sucks.

The drinks in this place are interesting and tasty. The ambiance is what you would expect — heavy on the vampire theme. However, it doesn’t appear to be a very popular spot in Södermalm as I went there on a Friday night with my friend and it was pretty dead (pardon the pun). Perhaps it is due to the fact that the place is for a very specific demographic. While we do like all things vampire-related, we left after one drink and spent the rest of the evening in a more happenin’ place nearby.

The place to go when I go home over weekends. Lovely drinks, amazing interior (very vampy, the clue is in the name really) and really friendly staff. If you want something else than the usual pubb-grubb deal this is the place.

Dyster bar i källaren med jättekul atmosfär! Det finns offerter för billigare öl varje dag och inredningen är verkligen fin. Mjuka röda soffor eller med zebramönster. Det var en fin plats för att träffas några vänner när jag besökte Stockholm.
