What was supposed to be an evening of fun, turned out to be a disaster. We booked a table but was forced to pay an entrance fee of 100SEK, something that wasn’t communicated to us when making the reservation. We then had to wait 55 minutes for our food which was cold and not very good. Only positive thing was the waiter who was friendly.

I went here on a Thursday with a couple friends, not long after they had opened at 6pm. Someone told me to check it out because of the cool ambinace. Well, when I arrived I almost left since it was abandoned and it had a really strange feel to it without anyone being there since you have to walk through fake«city streets» to get there. But the main room is pretty cool and they put a lot into making this place interesting to be in. I won’t spoil it, you can check it out yourself. There are a few different rooms with different vibes and it’s a cool idea. Anyways, we stayed although there were never more than 10 people there in this really big main room. They have a good afterwork drink deal, 29kr, so I was surprised. I guess all the cheap crowd goes to Carmen in the same area? We got food and the handmade burger was pretty filling — they definitely put some effort into it. There’s no bun, just a slice of ciabatta bread, a lot of fries and a little salad and coleslaw. It was good, but I could barely see it with the lighting in the room and it was actually pretty cold in there. I guess with so few guests, why bother to heat up such a huge room? The playlist kept stopping — they were building it song by song I guess. It was pretty good music but there would be minutes at a time where it was just us that could be heard talking in this huge room. Very odd. The bartender acted like kind of a dick but he did come deal with this extremely drunk dude that joined our table randomly so at least he’s doing his job. And he did nicely say goodbye when we left(say Hejdå to a Swede and it might be instinctual for them to perk up and say hejdå back in a friendly manner). Maybe he was just annoyed we weren’t speaking Swedish, I’m not sure. I kind of got that impression. The waitress was very nice and very friendly. In the end, they kicked us out 2 hours before they closed because it was so empty! Kind of a long review but there is a lot to say about this place. It’s truly a bizarre sort of venue. Apparently they have a lot of stand up comedy there(mostly in Swedish) and it also becomes a sort of club at some point. I could definitely imagine having fun at this place, but it was so empty when we came that I’m not sure. I would return here under the right circumstances! I recommend you check it out during the weekend. And if it’s not busy by 7 on a weekday, just go somewhere else!

Neat space with a small balcony. Good sound during the show without being too loud. The crowd was kinda subdued – my expat friend said the high drink prices in Sweden make everything a little boring.
