«Honey Honey how you thrill me — aha — Honey Honey nearly kill me — aha Honey Honey» With a touch of ABBA I begin this review, mainly because the song is named Honey Honey. However, I don’t think that the focus in the song was aimed at this bar. Honey Honey is a new explored(for me that is) place on the south side of the city. It is located at the corner of a building door-to-door with another bar and close to many others. I like these kind of places where I can have a drink, relax and take it eee-eeeasyyy. I’ve sat both in the bar area and the dining area and both are okay. The music is normally good too, we happened to be there on the night when the Olympics started but the music was still blasting and the TV was only on for people to watch. Just like many other places in this neighborhood the prices are good and I would like to try their food. And oh, They get a big plus for having three ladies rooms !! Now all they have to do is to be open to 3am instead of closing at 1.

Honey Honey is a fairly new restaurant in an area where much of the focus is on cheap beer and low quality. It appears as if they try to be slightly better than the competition in the area and they are to some extent succeeding. The bar part has a few TVs where they often show football but it is still not a sports bar. The beer selection is decent, they have the regular light Scandinavian lagers but when I have been there they also had Brooklyn Lager and the IPA from Brooklyn Brewery as well as Spaten and a few other more interesting choices. Wine is not really their focus so would not really go for that here. The food is decent at best but prices are fairly low(125SEK for a burger and a steak for around 160) so that considered I guess one gets what one pays for. I would however rather go elsewhere for food. Still it is a decent option when the really good places in the same area are full.
