Did you know Stockholm had its own Chinatown? Go to Luntmakargatan… now you know! This is a Korean/Japanese one, and its fairly good actually so dont be intimidated about the announced karaōke downstairs. You dont have to go there, but you might wanna, after some sake. If you go here, you should definitely try the Korean BBQ option out. It comes with a pre, main and a dessert for an okey price. Where main will give you the chef title and prove your skills. They will provide you with a plate with thin sliced rib eye which its yours to cook by the table, accompanied by some veggies and rice. Service isnt the fastest, but once you get going, you wont get upset about it. Its a fun different way to have a dinner, and most ppl will probably appreciate it.

Agree with previous reviews about it not being the most ambient or up to date in regards to décor. But, if you want a good fresh hot pot with lots of sides to choose from, great veggie tempura, it’s perfect. We were a group of 12 on a Saturday night which isn’t an easy bunch to accommodate if not planned ahead. Service was great, food and drinks brought out timely and the bill was incredibly reasonable. Everyone left happy and very full.

This is not your most ambient place, actually if feel more like a chinese restaurant from the 80’ies with wooden planels and benches. It doubles as a karaōke bar late in the evenings. The restaurant bar, restrooms and reception are located quite far inside the venue, which can cause a little hesitation at first(just keep walking straight ahead). We went on a Friday night with no reservation(party of two), and it was no problem to get a table. The place is actually quite big. We noticed that it is a polular place for families with small children and toddlers… However, the table arrangements and the wide ailes actually allow for it. It was noisy, but bearable. We ordered a japanese steak tartare for appetizer(see picture), together with some red wine. The taste of the steak tartare was pleasant and quite different from a regular steak, although the proportion of meat in the meat-cucumber patty was less than half. It was seasoned with sesame oil and soy sauce, and all in all I was quite pleased with my starter. For main, we shared a plate of entrecôte and vegetables cooked in boullion. When the plate arrived the size of the serving was impressive and we had trouble finishing everything. The veggies and the meat were fresh and tasty and our waiter was attentive and service-minded(exchanged by bad glass of wine for another one without hassle). For two startes and a shared main, a glass of wine and two beers we paid SEK900. On the pricey side, but ok value for money.
