What a great find in Stockholm! A great tasting strong coffee that could wake the dead, warm and friendly service and tasty toasted sandwiches.
We sat down to order and realised we were without cash and they only accept cash, but not to worry the amazingly nice girl behind the counter let us stay and eat and drink and then get money. Wow, can’t remember when I’ve had that level of trust or service in a place.
I had the toastie with peanut butter, bacon, onion and cheese — was to die for. Before I even thought to take a pic it was all gone. Even the plain cheese toastie was delicious, using a local cheese that I wish I could pronounce or even spell.
If you’re not up for a toastie go and have a fika — coffee and a cinnamon scroll — also melt in your mouth tasty. Or just have a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.

A café for the locals. Great coffe is served to the many regulars who find their favorite chair stolen by a confused tourist on the weekend who seen the café appear as one of the locations in the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Cash is king at Kaffe and a café latte on a double shot is called: special.

Sure, this is a nice café. Pretty neat interior, could be better, lot better actually when looking around. It’s a nice atmosphere and speedy wifi.
But the overpriced not too tasty mushroom toast together with an oboy I can mix myself for 10: th the prize. Nah, I would expect better. And some comfy chairs would’ve nice!
Maybe I sound grumpy, but it’s my honest opinion, I’ll be back to see if I can change my mind.

Definitely one of my favorite cafés in Stockholm! The atmosphere is hard to beat when you want to have an excellent cup of coffee and a bun. This is truly a hangout for locals and for good reason. The people who work there are so super friendly and I always have a great time when I visit. I have been here at least 25 times the past year or so and ALWAYS enjoy myself. It is a fabulous location for people-​watching, although it is often crowded and seating can be a problem. They have the city’s best cinnamon buns, without a doubt! And their simple grilled sandwiches are perfect coffee food!
This is not a fancy café or a trendy coffee roaster. It is more akin to a simple coffee diner, but with much better décor. And better coffee, of course. The lattes are fab! It is in a great section of Söder between Mariatorget and Slussen and is definitely worth putting on your itinerary if you value a great coffee experience. This is far superior to any of the coffee joints I have tried in the United States… it is a blend of Scandinavia and New York and while the selection is very basic (no frappacinos here) it is consistently better than anything at any Starbucks or similar franchise.
Bottom line: better atmosphere, faster service, friendlier people than at Johan & Nyström or Drop Coffee, and without the hipster façade. The coffee selection cannot compare with J&N or Drop Coffee (it is a simple menu) but the lattes and au laits are always excellent. The sandwiches are good, but simple and I would not want to see them try to offer the same sandwiches as every other café in town. They have hit on a winning formula.

It was pouring when I found this place. Super nice staff, delicious coffee, smell of fresh baking cookies ! Free wifi with password and just soft, chill music. I’m a happy camper.

Great coffee, great friendly staff (even on their grumpy days they’re pretty amusin in one way or another), nice with the small triangular toasts instead of regular flavorless mozarelöa sandwich & great prices. What’s not to love?
PS, bring cash. No credit cards accepte. That’s how they keep the prices down.

Great tile interior, tasty coffee and beautiful crowds at this coffee bar.
Don’t expect food other then toast or pastry, and do remember to bring cash.
This would have been a 5star place if they had healthier nibbles and accepted credit cards!

This is not specialty coffee. It feels sort of french or italian in style. Everything is cheap though so i would say you get good value. The toast is just what you need when hung over and sencitive to other things than white bread an cheese, while the chocolate browny with coconut topping is really tasty regardless.

Ok people. Listen to me now and hear me later. Coffee. They have it here. It is delicious. Get a normal cup… it comes in a little french press. Nestle up to the bar and enjoy it slowly… let the flavors dance across your palate.
