Adorable café and very friendly! Stopped in quickly for a fresh juice — I believe it was carrot apple and ginger– along with a Swedish cardamom sweet pastry called kardemummabullar. Would definitely visit again right before getting on the metro T around the corner.

I live right around the corner from this bakery and I have shopped there regularly for many, many years. I will continue to go there because they are local and they have fairly good stuff, but it is definitely hit-​or-​miss with them and lately it has been more miss than hit.
Their location is nice and cozy, can’t fault them there.
Their coffee is quite good, a better latte than Starbucks makes.
Breakfast brunch is excellent! A highly enjoyable experience!
Their sandwiches are okay. They usually look better than they taste, piled high with ingredients and interesting bread. But often I find the bread is too dry and the sandwiches taste bland.
Their cakes are dreadful. If you buy the kärleksmums (chocolate cake) or morotskaka (carrot cake), you will find that it tastes as if it is a day or two old. The icing is hard and crispy, not soft and creamy. The cake itself is dry and dense, not moist. This is a big problem that I have experienced over and over. In fact, I am writing this review while eating a too-​sweet, too-​dense, too-​dry piece of chocolate cake that is so bad I considered walking back over there to return it.
Their buns are nothing special. Average at best, very dry at worst. I have actually returned a bun for exchange after walking all the way home and finding it hard and stale.
I have never bought a loaf of bread there, so I cannot comment on that.
This place has a good reputation in the neighborhood, but the more I talk with my neighbors, the more I realize that the reputation is a carry-​over from their early days when their quality was better and there was not as much competition nearby. Now, though, some truly good bakeries and cafés have opened up and I think Bloom’s needs to double-​down and fix their processes in order to save their reputation.

A quaint and cozy little bakery that serves fantastic baked goods. Great atmosphere. Had a variety of the pastries available. Loved the cookies!!! Free wifi is a plus!!!
