Consistently good sushi. I sometimes travel 3 km for their moriawase.

I like this place. The taste of the food is really nice, the quality is nice and in this period with all the tables outside it really shines(in winter time it has like 6 seats inside). Great place if you want to eat a light lunch in the sun.

Although named izakaya, it’s definitely more a sushi place. It’s nice interior does not make up for the lack of seats but in the summer the outdoor seating is a good option. For sushi fusions or decent sashimi this is a really good place for a take-out. I would recommend to call in advance because the wait can be quite long if you’re unlucky. If you are looking for a more traditional sushi experience, or to sit down while eating you should maybe go elsewhere.

This restaurant has been visited by my family countless times. The meals are neatly assembled and quite good. It is quite ‘billigt’ and worth paying for. It is clean and the staff is kind and patient with your order. There are some minuses such as a small space and quite a few people, but that isn’t something tragic enough to leave without paying, right? I recommend this restaurant and hope you enjoy.

Small and cozy place with delicious creative sushi vatiations. My personal favorite is the salmon nigiri with habanero! Staff is super friendly and prices are okay for Stockholm.

Small but quaint little sushi joint. Very friendly and truly captures the familiar feel that is the Japanese izakaya. But more than anything, their sushi is amazing. Impressive variety, and culinary ingenuity. Easily one of Stockholm’s best sushi restaurant.

Great sushi, but not the best in town. I´ve tried 11 different nigiri pieces. The fish was really fresh and tasty but the rice was not top class. The staff was efficient and nice.

Small exclusive contemporary sushi restaurant. We had a fantastic experience, chefs choice by the sushi bar, I would highly recommend it to sushi lovers or beginners. This place takes sushi seriously in very relaxed atmosphere and social setting with room for maximum 8 guests. If you can’t get a seat make sure to try the takeaway!

I have been here about three times, and find it Sushi excellence, really! At least for my humble and simple knowledge of it. I don’t know what is what on the menu, and feel like I need to study some web searches before I order, but I simply ordered something. This place is tiny with take away or eat in, but you’ll have to be lucky to get a spot amongst the few. Downside here is a slight arrogance, oh sorry: they are cool, but not my kinda cool. The place namely has a local hip clientele, but their vibe is not making me eat in, simple as that. Why? Well, it’s so small in there that you easily are the outsider, which simply is annoying. This place is good, very good, but for all sake, the food is more important then the crowd!

Best sushi in town! The creations this place puts on the table is worth a visit alone, the sushi is fantastic and service excellent. Summertime they have a nice outdoor service, wintertime better go for takeaway since seats are limited to say at least. The possibility to get a glass of wine or a nice beer with your sushi just makes this place perfect.

Izakaya definitely not. This alone irritates the expectation. Sushi restaurant yes. The chirashi was unusual by Japanese standards due to the numerous competing sauces on the sashimi, rice underneath and even Kim chee. Where’s the taste of the fresh sashimi and sushi rice? Fusion you say? No, it’s more like a cyclone. Sushi essentials mean simplicity, freshness, setting on plate, color and yes the delicate texture of flesh. The challenge of producing a savory delight is far from simple. Just another ho hum sushi stop. Yawn…

Great sushi, combined with really good kimchi and beef tartar. Buddy and I went on a Sunday night right before closing and it was fantastic, with all the food and big bottle of beer cost around 100 usd. The nigiri have great material but you can also see the creative side of the chef, great atmosphere/experience and value.

This place has some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. The daily rolls are great, however the nigiris are the real deal here! The freshness and creativity is to die for, yet still so elegant and classic… Reminds me of some of the nice Japanese sushi places you’ll find in San Francisco. The izakaya itself is pretty small — 10 seats or so — but if the weather is good there’s plenty of outside seating or you can take away the sushi to the nearby Vasaparken or bring it home or whatever. Just make sure to go here and nowhere else if you have a sushi crave!

I was there a few days ago. Nice outdoor seating and friendly staff. We had the mixed plate of sushi which was really good. Overall i was very happy with my meal, only little complaint would be that the miso soup wasnt as tasty as other places.

Yes! Achivement unlocked! Finally found excellent take-out sushi in the heart of Vasastan. The rolls are great but you really want to go for the nigiri. Fresh, innovative but yet classic at its core. The price is also okay(Stockholm wise) so you really can’t go wrong. The place itself is tiny but cosy and although we didn’t stay there to eat I’d imagine it would be a good experience.
