very centrally located. There really aren’t many great food options around here. This was decent. Not amazing, but good. Service was very fast even though the restaurant was crowded for lunch. Nice décor, but you seat yourself and get your own water. Theres a nice salad bar which is free.

We decided to try this place based on Unilocal reviews and the Stockholm DK Travel Guide. Great food and great service. I had the traditional meatball dish with lingonberries and my husband had the grilled salmon. Both dishes were cooked just right. Located in a great area for shopping and dining too.

Very good and very fancy and centrally located on a picturesque shopping street. The food is presented so well and has Swedish dishes as well as things that intimidated Americans would eat. Didn’t seem like there would be any shortage of seating as there were multiple seating areas. The interior is quite posh and the ambient music didn’t quite match up. Low lighting, LED-lit bars and décor, flowers on the wall. It is an absolutely safe bet for a nice date on the town if you’re in Stockholm. The meatballs, while pricey, were delicious. It is your typical European restaurant in that the service is slower than what Americans would expect. You also have to ask for your check. Tip before closing out your credit card. The food is original and filling, but everything else is a bit half-baked. The service is extremely slow, the prices are high for the cuisine offered, and the place is a bit cramped inside and out. Our waitress disappeared after delivering the food and the maitre d’ seemed almost hostile. The outside seating on Drottninggatan was tight, but offered a pleasant view. Recommended for the food alone, but make sure to come at a slow time to get decent service.

Nice sort of upscale place in the middle of the high shopping district of Stockholm. I sort of fell into this place while walking a cold afternoon looking for lunch. I had a very tasty large bowl of goulash full of meat and potatoes with a big blop of sour cream on top. Followed by some of the most tasty Swedish meatballs I have ever had that came with this bowl of creamy whipped yellow mashed potatoes that were super good all by themselves. They had other things like grilled elk and reindeer on the menu that I was tempted to try but did not. This place is a little pricey but that is expected for the location.

We just sort of stumbled upon Drottninghof Grill & Bar while walking around and exploring the city. It was the first time I tried plankstek and it was so yummy. It was a little pricy but seemed average for prices in Stockholm. The Swedish meatballs were also yummy. Overall, this was a good place to try the local cuisine but I’m not sure if it’s worth going out of your way for unless you are nearby in the neighborhood. Plankstek is a steak dish where the meat is served on an uncarved block of wood. The dish included mashed potatoes and other veggies. Perfect for a steak lover!
