Cozy and kiss friendly cafè located in the heart of Östermalm. Friendly staff, really good Chai Latte and nice pizza. Every time!

Clearly, my family and I went to an alternate version of this otherwise crazily highly rated café. Blech. Blech. Perhaps a late lunch is not this café’s best time, but all five of us were very sorely disappointed by quality(or lack thereof). Husband had the cod in a caviar cream sauce with potatoes and could only eat two bites. He was gagging while eating it. It was a very odd looking cut of fish from my perspective, very stringy and muscular looking, cut at an odd angle. I really have never seen fish that looks like this before and the smell was so off putting I could not bring myself to taste it. As is the Swedish cheap eats style, slathered in an enormous amount of crème fraîche/mayo/glop. Potatoes undercooked and bland. I got the lentil soup which tasted like cream and curry, not lentils. It was a purée. Perhaps there were lentils in this pureed treat. I admit it tasted ok, but I asked my family if my teeth had turned yellow from the brightness of the soup and the pungent level of curry. There was a slab of dough with cheese on the side and an orange slice. By far the orange slice was the best part of my meal. The three junior pizza lovers each got a different type of pizza and each could not finish their food. Yes, they were big servings, but these were not the most appetizing looking(or apparently most delicious) pizzas in town. All three were unable to eat much of their pizza, because each pizza was dripping with grease but undercooked. Middle child was sick and vomiting within 2 hours after lunch. The cashier/hostess was very nice. The«chef» who was right in front of us, never got off of his phone, yelling and hollering as he made the three pizzas. Lord knows what anger and gossip went into those pizza pies. About 900 Swedish kroner for a very, very sorry lunch. It is a rare thing for me to say it, but I apologized to husband and children that I had discouraged them from going to the Micky D’s around the corner. I know all five of us would have had a cleaner, more nutritious, better meal than this wretched slop.

Delicious drinks and food with a great atmosphere! I’d have given five stars really, but took one off for two reasons. The first being that while here a couple weeks ago, I was actually targeted by a pickpocketer posing as a beggar INSIDE the café, and was surprised the management did nothing to prevent it in the first place or go after the person afterwards. The second reason isn’t substantial at all, but for the area the café is in, it’s surprised me both times I’ve been there that the staff doesn’t speak English. Perhaps I just got lucky twice, but it sure made me have to practice my Swedish. They do have an English menu though, so worst case, you can do the pointing method, and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from going back.

Ein kleines, nettes Café mit viel Charme! Lecker Kaffee, gute Essensauswahl, Kuchen, Pasta, Desserts. Saubere Toilette und WLAN vorhanden, Sitzplätze über zwei Etagen innen. Sehr gemütlich, eine absolute Empfehlung und für Stockholm günstig!

This is one of my new favorite cafes! It is cosy, quaint, and full of smiles. It’s quiet enough to read a good book but loud enough to hold a conversation with others looking at you. I love the desserts!

I love this café right in the heart of Stockholm. I first discovered it when I was staying at the Hotel Diplomat just a few blocks away, and now it’s one of my favorite places to work. Good, reliable wifi, good coffee, nice ambiance, and the food is delicious. 5 stars for going above and beyond what is necessary: various water pitchers flavored with orange, limon, cucumber, etc, bread station with choice of various tapenades you can help yourself to. They also have a nice booth in the back which is a bit more secluded and is great for business meetings or interviews.
