Cute café — great vibes, nice waiters, and great looking pastries — but the menu is half English and half Swedish and I felt pressured to order quickly so I ordered the croque monsieur without realizing that it had mustard. If you like mustard, it was delicious, but if you’re like me and dont, I didnt love the sandwich as much as I expected, especially when paying 125 skr for it.

The priorities are clear here at Café Foam. Trendiness is king, but sadly friendliness seems to be in exile. I have to admit, the interior design is really something special. However, none of the baristas extend a smile to their guests. It seems everyone who works here is unhappy. What good is a fancy place if guests are not made to feel welcome? Other than that, my cappuccino was good and the brioche wasn’t bad either.

If I am looking for good coffee (better than the espresso I make at home), this is one of two places I frequent. Café Foam’s interior is quite minimal, nothing that screams luxury or whimsical or extraordinary. I like the fact that there are curtains that divides the tables although you could drag them open if you have a large group. Coffee is fantastic, tea selection is wide, and fruit juices are refreshing. However, I don’t think the pastries are very delicious. I come here for the coffee anyway…

The best summary to describe Foam? A trendy, innovative gem in the Ostermalm district! Upon the (incredibly attractive) server’s recommendation I went with his favorite salad: the Grilled halloumi cheese with artichoke, vegetables & honey dressing. The vegetables were crunchy and fresh, the cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the honey dressing! Wow, the honey dressing was definitely the cherry on top of this metaphorical Swedish ice cream. For dessert, we got coffee to go! The coffee was incredibly strong, the perfect temperature, and very tasty! I will definitely be returning here next time I am back in Sweden.

Perhaps it was an off day, but I found Foam to be overrated. I was initially drawn to it due to the fact that it was featured in Conde Nast magazine, and the bright fuscia interior was just too girly for me to pass up.
The service was extremely slow. The tables on the patio outside were not cleared. All of them, in fact, had dirty dishes for the whole time we were there. We had to ask one of the employees several times to clean it up. The side patios were also positioned on an angle. Not the most comfortable. Our cappuccinos took over 20 minutes to come which was highly annoying. It was the middle of the afternoon, and it wasn’t extremely busy.
The cardamon buns however, were delicious and very fresh.

Great place for breakfast! We had breakfast here and it was great. Loved the coffee, home made sandwiches, fresh juice, Cinemon rolls and the free Wi-​Fi!
And we were lucky with the weather so could sit on the small but comfortable terrace.
