Santa Clara, CA
Great for a fika, or just a coffee (free refill). Also have beer and wine by the glass for a relaxed get together after work. Stylish interior and friendly staff, even though admittedly they lost a bit of the personal touch they had initially when the owner spend 95% of her time taking orders and refilling people’s coffee cups.

Two words: Choklad Biskvi. DAMNNN good.
Great place for lunch or fika, with delicious food, friendly & efficient wait staff, and a colorful & bright interior design. Nice wine selection too (for American fika).
Seriously, get the Biskvi: they’re insanely good.

Good service and great pastry. It is located super close to the subway station (Stadion) very easy to find. Glamurous and comfortable.

Least welcoming coffee place in Stockholm. The guy who helped me three days in a row was unpleasant, rude and made me feel as he was making me a favor to prepare my morning coffee. If you are in the neighborhood just go to Café Foam instead: super nice people, great ambience and delicious food.

Stylish but unpretentious interior. Well-​prepared but unremarkable food (I hade a chicken sallad). Calm. I might have settled for a three-​star Unilocal grade, but my mother, on the other hand, was thrilled. Thus, a good choice for a lunch with your 70-​year old mother.
