Literally 5 seats next to a T-bana entrance. We were lucky enough to get two seats and had a great lunch of tasty sushi. Very reasonable prices for good quality fish – especially in Stockholm where nothing is reasonable! Good people watching if you get stools facing the street.

With no doubt my most favourite sushi spot in Europe. Whenever I have time in Stockholm this is my «to go» place. As other reviewers mentioned it seats only 5 poeple so getting place may be bit complicated especially in larger groups and during peak hours. The sushi itself is not just another oldschool lookin nigiri or maki roll but looks more like piece of art and tastes just great. Wide selection of fresh fish — I dont even know what fish Iam eating most of the time but it sure taste and look amazing. Looking forward to next time eating sushi at Akki.

My favorite sushi joint in Scandinavia. A big plus for the volume of the hiphop or dubstep keeping you from hearing your own thoughts while standing in line. Minus for people who don’t understand that this is not a place for having a 30min+ dining experience, which should speak for itself due to the limited seating. But I can’t count how much I have tipped these guys and every dime and minute in line has always been worth it!

Fresh, flavorful, and beautifull dishes! The best sushi in town! Perfect for take away(literally next to the metro stop)!

For take-away this is a great place. Slightly expensive but very good sushi. Don’t even try to have your sushi here though, it’s a hole-in-the-wall on a busy street corner with take-away customers streaming in and out.

Most swedes love this place yet I don’t understand why. It is basically a take away sushi bar that acts like they are located in L.A. with their west coast hip hop playing in the background. The only thing that divides itself from the other stop & go sushi bars is that they take their time to make the sushi with what appears to be real fish. I appreciate that because it makes a big difference with taste and your health in comparison to the other sushi places that I sometimes question if this is real salmon or tuna. However, as for an enjoyable experience. I would much rather sit down and enjoy my sushi then be squeezed out the door with a styrofoam box. The likely chance of me catching two, let alone one, of the four open stools to sit on always feels impossible. So to me… it’s average for Stockholm, nothing too special.

They don’t have a website. Hell, they don’t even have a sign. You better find you a local who loves it if you want to find this modest little hole-in-the-wall in Stockholm. Seriously. No sign. All you’ve got to help you pick the magic door is the subtle stream of sushi lovers swimming in and out of a nameless closet right outside of Metborgarplatsen T-Bana. If you do somehow manage to find your way into this raw fish paradise, order a plate off the short menu, vie for a position in one of the 5 seats, and settle yourself down for an clear understanding of why it is that the Swedes love Japanese culture. 5 Stars for these guys!
