For some reason it has taken me so long to come here for lunch but after hearing so many good things about it, today I finally made it. Their roof terrace, where me and my lunch company had our lunch, is cosy and works great as a nice break from the crowded street outside. The atmosphere definitely gets a five star.
The food however is another story. Judging by their Asian fusion menu, the food looked quite interesting. But as always with Asian fusion, there is a risk of falling flat, which unfortunately they did here. Now, I can’t say if their other dishes are any good but I surely felt that I wasted my money. I ordered their 9 pieces of sushi (138kr) and my company ordered a Donburi (135kr). Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the Donburi but it sure looked poor and uninteresting. It was a bowl of very overcooked rice topped with a little vegetables, one egg and some clicks of mayo on the side. Compared to a real Japanese Donburi this was far from anything like it. The sushi I had, oh my where do I start. The fish was good and I enjoyed their variety. But the key ingredient in sushi is the rice… and the rice here was awful. They had used the same rice as for the Donburi– overcooked and not even marinated. Just plain rice!!! It was such a shame to make sushi like this that I made it into a very small sashimi instead and left the rice behind. Good thing was however their bread and cream cheese, that was included in the lunch, of which I ate a lot to compensate the unexpected «sashimi» lunch.
So why is this place so popular? Because it can’t be for their sushi? Or did the chef just have a bad day and forgot to marinate the rice and accidentally cooked it wrong?
Either way, I can imagine it to be a great place to have drinks at because of the terrace. Will I come back? Yes, probably, but I will definitely eat somewhere else or just order their sashimi.

We started with the «Red pork» and the «Ceviche», I recomend the pork, special flavour, tasty and tender but a bit fatty. The sushi was very nice, we ordered «something something roll» «spicy tuna» and a mix of makis. The spicy tuna with the chilimajonäss was the one I liked less (but still very good). I recomend the place for a dinner or just to take a drink.

Il aura fallu entrer par hasard dans ce restaurant bondé pour manger ce qui s’est révélé être parmi les meilleurs sushis. Ambiance cool, design, lounge avec bar et cuisine apparente. Serveuse adorable, plateau de plusieurs produits de mer qui était un régal… Cette adresse est un coup de cœur pour toute personne branchée de bon goût qui se respecte. Nous y retournerons à notre prochaine venue à Stockholm !

A local took me here for drinks. A very popular night spot. Great ambiance. Recommended for drinks.

Absolutely fabulous! Don’t miss the spicy tuna, it is delicious. The giant trout is amazing as well. I managed to keep going back during my stay in Stockholm. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I loved this restaurant! Apparently the six of us got really lucky and actually got a seat without making having made reservations because 6 people didnt show up for theirs. This was a Thursday night too.
The restaurant is really trendy with a cool bar in the front and nice lounge chairs, so even if you can’t eat there, it’s a great place to have a drink.
We had some great appetizers to start.
— spring rolls were the best, because the sauce dipping it came with was so good.
— duck samosas were okay, not enough stuffing
— gyoza/​pot stickers were fairly good
Then I had
— 5 love tai: chili mayo, jalapeño, kimchi with tai fish… oh man… im drooling just thinking about this
— 5 spicy tuna: pretty on all the ball satisfying.
I also had this passion fruit martini that was delicious.
I definitely recommend some fancy sushi here.

Quality has dwindled since the change in ownership. The food is ok, but for the prices they do not live up to past standards. For a good asian experience at söder go to Blu light yokohama instead.

Went here on our trip for my friends birthday and though it was great. We had delicious sushi and a good dessert and the service was super nice. I’d def go back!

A Södermalm classic, equally good for food and for drinks. Great place to start an evening out, try the chili mayo!

Nice Asian fusion restaurant in Stockholm. Best sushi I had in town so far. Well frequented.
Good to go solo.
