A decent lounge for a Star Alliance Gold member flying Economy on all other(non SQ) airlines. The food is good, the drinks are good, and the seating is decent. Overall, a nice lounge if you have no other choices at T2.

Comfy chairs. Cold drinks. Hot food. Newspapers. Free wifi. All in all a decent experience on par with Lufthansa senators lounge. However, no showers for the weary traveler in transit.

Having done a little internet research, I was led to this lounge as the only viable option for United Gold flyers. The author of one particularly helpful review pointed out that for Singapore KRIS lounges, the designations of Gold and Silver are reversed, the latter being the upgrade for business class passengers. At least at 5:00 in the morning, the Gold lounge was quite a disappointment. There was all the equipment for a reasonable buffet, but everything was empty. Was able to scrape together a croissant and a cup of coffee,(and there was a platter of pre-wrapped sandwiches like mom makes for your lunchbox), but beyond that, that was it. Even the liquor selection looks cheap, like a downgrade from what you’d find in a domestic United Club. In short, if you can find a better option, I say — TAKEIT.

Simple lounge for gold star alliance member, food and drinks are sufficient for a quick snack before boarding. Unfortunately for those who love sweets(dessert), there is none for a good sinning. They serve TWG tea and good coffee. Tried a French red wine today, and it is really good. Lotsa Asian food and sandwiches. Good ambience and the staffs are very friendly and they always around to pick up dirty plates.

Am I the only one who finds it confusing that Gold Lounge is lower than Silverkris lounge, especially since membership-wise, silver is below gold for Singapore Airlines? Anyway, I’m not cool enough to hang out at the business class Silverkris lounge, but my recently attained Gold status on SQ has given access to the Gold Lounge. Once inside, everything is pretty straightforward. To the left, you’ll find the buffet spread. There’s a variety of hot food, sandwiches, breakfast-y items like granola and cornflakes, along with snacks like potato chips, crackers, and cheese. You can easily get bottled water, sodas, red or white wine, Tiger on tap, and a few spirits like rum and gin to name a few. The«inner room», for lack of a better term, has 2 flat screen TVs. If you go «outside» to the balcony area, there are no TVs and it’s a little quieter. All the chairs are leather and very comfy, and there are a lot of small tables to put your plates and glasses down. Wifi is free, but I found it a little unreliable(for some reason, the Unilocal app wouldn’t work because it found the network unsecure.) But my 4G worked fine. Overall, I found this lounge adequate for my needs and good for spending just an hour or 2.

Sadly this isn’t a shining example of Singapore Airlines. It’s all just a bit average in this lounge and while it’s an ok place to grab a seat and relax for a little while, the food selection is dire and there’s no toilets or showers to avail yourself of. Pro tip: Keep an eye on the clock as they won’t call your flight number here.

I have to say that I was pretty disappointed in the Singapore Airlines Gold Lounges at Changi Airport. Because I had flights on different airlines, I tried out the Gold Lounge in both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. The one in Terminal 3 was more open air, and open 24 hours. But you have to go outside to get to the bathroom, what is up with that? And the food offerings were meager. I’ve also been in the SATS lounge next door, and there’s no comparison between the two, SATS is much better. The Terminal 2 iteration of the Gold Lounge is worse. It’s just one big open room with chairs. And yet again, you have to go outside and go to a public bathroom. What’s the point of even having a lounge in the first place? The food is the same in both, so there’s really no difference. I’m assuming the Singapore Airlines Silver Lounge is the better lounge, since it’s located right next door and the staff was much nicer when I tried to go in there accidentally. At the Terminal 2 lounge, the front desk lady was very uncharacteristically having an aggressive conversation on her cell phone and everyone in the lounge could hear. But hey, Singapore Airlines Gold Lounge is better than nothing!

If you need a place to dump your stuff and grab some free food, then sure why not visit the SIA Gold Lounge. But honestly, this is an average lounge. Messy, overcrowded and average seats with average food and drink. My recommendation is to stay in Changi Airport and find somewhere nice to eat or try get in to Silver Lounge which is ironically better than Gold. There is no toilets or showers, just average chairs + food and drink.

Enjoyed the food. Very spacious. It’s great to be able to take a shower between long flights. Great customer service.

T3 Terminal Lounge: Good, more spacious than the T2 one, food after 1am, friendly service but HOT. When we walked into this lounge after landing at T3, we thought it was an ok lounge. Definitely plenty of seating and some decent hot food options but no showers inside nor bathrooms. T2 Lounge: Empty, staff not nearly as friendly and food mostly after 5am. It is quiet(most likely because there was no one here when we were), good loungey music, dim sum type food along with hot congee and noodles. Overall, out of the various Star Alliance lounges, these are surprisingly disappointing with no showers nor restrooms inside the lounge at either terminal.

This Singapore Airlines lounge is not the best i’ve experienced out of the airlines numerous lounges around the world. They have a lot of space though! Food is good but standard! Everything is tasty but you don’t get a plethora of choices unlike Hong Kong international’s offerings. Also lacking its own toilet and bathroom facilities. You have to share the public ones with all the other lounges on the level — no shower facilities either. *thumbs down* Don’t bother jumping to the other terminals either to see if their Kris Lounge is better — they are all pretty much carbon copies, just differing in size a little. Still — beats hanging with the crowd downstairs!

This is a comfortable lounge for Star Alliance Gold Members. It’s not as nice or fancy as the SilverKris lounge a few feet away but one can’t always travel business class in which case this lounge gets the job done. They have a good selection of food and drinks if you’re hungry. Their wifi is reliable most of the time and although it can be pretty crowded there’s always a comfy chair to plop into before your flight. The one thing that confused me for a while is that the Gold Lounge is lower level than the Silver lounge… go figure!
