This place made me almost want to move home back to Tunbridge Wells. I can’t believe I haven’t been before. Lovely vibe, mismatch chairs and tables, colourful bunting and a nice airy, bright feel. We were here for a friend’s birthday lunch and I must say, it knocked my socks off. Beautiful crockery, unique teacups and teapots, and better still, they serve alcohol — so bucks fizz o clock it was for brunch!
The scrambled eggs here are some of the best I’ve EVER had (and I make a mean version myself at home). The tomatoes they come with are to die for. The bread is good, the bacon is tasty. What more can a gal ask for?
We stuck around and shared a few pieces of cake after brunch. It was bloody good, I recommend the lemon drizzle in particular — super tangy and delicious.
Never going anywhere else again ever. Ok that’s a lie but you get the gist.

If you’re looking for a quirky tea room, with delicious cakes and funky décor, this is not the place for you.
Only kidding. This place is cool. Chuck Close paintings, bunting, partly burnt renaissance painting, eclectic furniture and crockery. What more could you want? Oh, you want good tea and cake? They’ve got that too. And service? As friendly as it gets.
You want an amazing coffee? Well, you’ll have to settle for «pretty good».
It also helps if you come on a sunny bank holiday.

After a tiring day of shopping in the gorgeous place known as Tunbridge Wells all I wanted was a nice break with a sweet treat. Almost everywhere was closed and then I stumbled across a little place known as Juliet’s close to the train station. Juliet’s combines the regal era of 1950’s Britain with modern twists. Walking in makes you feel as though you have joined in on a street party celebrating the Queen. You can head to Juliet’s for lunch or simply a slice of home-​made cake, they cater for both! I hear that Juliet’s is soon to open for dinner too and as soon as it does, it will be on my to do list. The entire feel of Juliet’s is charming and quirky, with every piece of china and cutlery being different! There is a true sense of vintage charm about this sweet café/​restaurant and I have to say, the Pistachio ice cream is to die for! I cannot wait to return to Juliet’s to try lunch and snap up a piece of lemon and poppy seed cake!
