Happened upon this pub because the White Hart Tap down the street was fully booked. We had the Sunday lamb roast, including dessert £9 per person. Very tasty — came with Yorkshire puddings (2), mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, swede & cabbage. Dessert was apple pie with ice cream for me, jam roly poly with custard for my husband. Nice traditional pub atmosphere, pleasant service. Good selection of drinks. Free wifi. Great find!

Very impressive Victorian Fullers pub. Good to see guest beers complimenting the Fullers range (including the award winning Harvest Pale Ale from Castle Rock).
Nice external drinking area too, better than staying inside (if you have the option).
