Sure, I haven’t eaten the Colonel’s chicken in a few years. Let’s pop in for a quick lunch!
And now I remember why I skipped it! They might have changed the name so it’s ‘healthier’ but the «F» still stands for «Fried». Various parts of chicken cooked in hot oil into different shapes and parts. Popcorn chicken or ‘hot rods’ or just a fried chicken breast on a bun (plus mayo and cheese). I tried for a lighter side dish instead of fries, but the corn is still drenched in a heart-​attack inducing quantity of butter.
At least the chicken was juicy and flavorful, once I got past the outer layer of batter defense. See you in a few more years, Colonel Sanders!

i bought 10 pieces on 29th in the evening abt 9;45.the chicken was hard and burnt. i put it to us being last customers of the
30th i went there to buy another 10 pieces for family as we are visiting reading, it was horrible. i love kfc but it was crusty and smelt horrible. the smell of old oil, and the color was unappetising. i called them 15 times they wouldnt pick up the phone. that has put my family off kfc.

This KFC is in a really good location to eat whilst you’re out shopping, but suffers from absolutely huge queues from about 11am til about 4pm if not later, sometimes these queues are out the door. The staff are ok, sometimes you get someone who isn’t really too good with english and they make mistakes with your food but 90% of the time its all fine, and there are lots of seats and its normally quite clean too.
