The Blue Tiffin is a fantastic restaurant, however it is fairly expensive in comparison to other places. I would recommend having the mango curry with chicken. It is delish! The staff are exceptionally friendly and service is great. Quick to come and take your order and you generally don’t have to wait that long for your meal. A night menu starter, main and sides wise but not that great for deserts but that is just my opinion on the matter. I have heard that they now have an entertainment lounge which sounds good but I have not yet had chance to experience this for myself. I would say that this isn’t a restaurant that you could particularly visit every week because of the price which is at the top end of our price bracket for a meal but a very nice meal every time s you pay for quality I suppose.

Travelling through. Went on Unilocal recommendation. What a fantastic restaurant! The reviewer who said this feels like a city centre restaurant was absolutely right. Service was friendly and efficient, offering good recommendations. They were attentive, asking if we would like a break between courses. Our orders turned up promptly. The restaurant space is large and has managed to keep an intimate feel with the clever use of glass screens. We were able to enjoy a meal for two undisturbed by a family celebrating an 18th20 ft away. The menu has everything you would expect of an Indian restaurant, and many new dishes we had not tried before. We took advantage of the Friday night meal deal, that covers 80% of the menu and was excellent value. This place is a gem, and we will definitely be going back.

I saw the reviews on this site so I decided to go try. I am an Indian Cuisine expert, eating curries for over 25 years. I have been to India on several occasions Bombay, Madras and Goa, I also make my own curries and have my own tandoor. The place is nice and clean ASHAME abot the very poor food we were served! I had the worst Biriani I have EVER had! The rice had been in the warmer far too long and there was no king prawns in it, 4 small slivers of dried up lamb, and a few scraps of dried up chicken absolutely disgusting. I complained and was refunded without arguement as the staff were fully aware of the poor meal I was served. I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends. They also use Red food colouring on the chicken. The Lamb Badami was ok but only 4 small slices of lamb were in the sauce and all the food was served luke warm. Beware!!!

I’ve been a regular visitor here over the years and i highly recommend it. Mixed starter is lush, portions are fair, service is 1st class and the staff are polite and not creepy. I travel 12 miles to this place and its worth every penny. BIGUP the Tiffin.

A great Indian restaurant. There are actually two Blue Tiffin restaurants within 2 miles of each other, with this location being far from ideal as it’s in the middle of an industrial estate. To be fair, its location offers masses and masses of parking, and once you get inside you’ll forget where you are. It’s definitely a little treasure, and although it can be very, very busy(always a good sign) it’s often worth the wait if you haven’t booked. It’s a very clean, modern place with an intimate and warm atmosphere, if occasionally rather noisy. Blue Tiffin serves some really great food, easily some of the beset Indian cuisine in Oldham. Definitely recommended.

Blue Tiffin is a fantastic Indian Resturant located in Oldham, well first of all the food is amazing the chef is so talented and make delicous beautifully presented food, I have eaten at the Blue Tiffin 4 timeS in the last 6 weeks and i am convinced im addicted! The inside is really nice and the staff are so friendly and extremly professional. The set menu is the best to order from i think, you can expect to pay £11.95 for a Starter(massive portions) a main and a dessert which i think if fab for the price and the quality of the food!

This restaurant offers modern, quality Indian cuisine that you would normally find in the big cities, in an out of city location. The restaurant is large, modern and the décor is very classy. The service is top notch, and it has a great atmosphere. Food is a bit pricer than your average Indian but it’s definitely worth it. There are usually some large groups dining out on a weekend which adds to the atmosphere, but it can be equally intimate if you ask for the right table. You should definitely book a table for popular evenings Fri and Sat otherwise you’ll be waiting in the bar area for quite some time! Recommended for a more special evening than your typical Indian can offer.

This is probably one of the most suprising restaurants you will ever find anywhere. Situated on what can only be described as a trading estate, so DONOT be fooled by the location of this restaurant. A couple of miles from any town centre but well worth the journey. This restaurant is very popular and i would advise people to book tables in advance. Famous for award winning Asian cuisine and excellent service. Staff are very friendly and make everyone feel very special. A good place to meet up with friends and family.
