Morley’s best kept secret! A lovely family run Italian restaurant tucked down an alley way just off the main precinct. We were greeted with a warm welcome and all the staff were so friendly. The food was excellent — I always judge a good Italian on their meatballs and they were delicious as was the lobster ravioli that I had for my main course. The portions were of a good size but impossible not to finish. The real fun started after the plates were cleared away. We were treated to shots of sambuca and limoncello whilst the waiter handed out the song sheets. Well lubricated from the shots we all joined in to a rendition of ‘That’s Amore’. The waiters, kitchen staff and management then all hit the dance floor along with the majority of the guests for a good boogie. Before I knew it is was dancing the Macarena with the chef, as the bottle of limoncello got passed around for the third time. It’s safe to say that we danced off most of our calories from the dinner and had a wonderful night. These old school, family run places are few and far between these days, so I would highly recommend Sambuca’s for a full night of dining and entertainment.
